I'm very glad I discovered this lovely gem. The accommodation I was staying at, in Mullion, was unable to provide breakfast due to staff shortage. I wanted somewhere local to where I was staying, dog friendly and a simple, no pretentious frilly-nilly menu and this place provided that. The staff are very friendly as well.
A very relaxed atmosphere with extremely friendly staff. The food was yummy and went down very well. Only very minor complaints about service were we were asked if we wanted sauces, to which we replied yes but then still had to ask for them after our food arrived and then there were a couple of customers that came in moaning and groaning which ruined the relaxing atmosphere. Overall very happy with this place.
The Coffee Bean is local to both my home and my work place so I frequently dine in, and order out. The food is always cooked to perfection and they never seem to mind my extra requests. The staff are friendly, warm and professional and always go above and beyond to make customers feel welcome. I love to see the older generation, who obviously visit the cafe weekly, and have their little traditions and habits. The staff seem to make them feel like they are a welcome part of the furniture and ensure their visit is special. Cannot recommend enough!
We accidentally stumbled on the Coffee Bean Restaurant and we are glad we did. It is fairly unassuming from the outside but seemed to be busy which we took as a good sign. Service was brilliant, a good choice of food at reasonable prices and everything we had tasted great. Seemed to be a family run business and happy to support places like this, wish there were more places like this. We will be back if we are ever in the area again.
Really enjoyed the scone and hot chocolate from here, service was quick and staff were friendly and helpful. Given that Alfa Travel are now running regular trips to Helston this cafe is going to see a boost in customs for sure!
My partner and I are loyal Coffee Bean enthusiasts. We've eaten a lot of fry ups and can safely tell you that The Big Breakfast is the epitome of a cafe fry up. Cooked to perfection every single time. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
